How can social distancing help?
Limiting face-to-face contact with others is the best way to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Social distancing is the practice of keeping space between yourself and other people outside of your home. The following guidelines are necessary for proper social distancing.
- Stay at least 6 feet (2 meters) from other people
- Do not gather in groups
- Stay out of crowded places and avoid mass gatherings
- Limit travel outside the home to only essential activities (getting food, going to the hospital or physician, going to work for those adults with a job).
